Many of last week’s contestants had five incorrect games, and the most missed was seven games.

Of course, everyone missed the ISU/Baylor game. Grrrr.

One person missed two games, and is therefore the winner. Joe Tiernan of Winterset missed both the ISU and I-35 games and won handily, even though his tiebreaker score of 59 was a smidge high. The tiebreaker of the Iowa/Middle Tennessee game was 51 points.

Four people missed three games.

Ted Stiles of Dexter missed three but hit the tiebreaker on the nose. He takes second place.

Conner Morris of Winterset missed three and had a tiebreaker of 55 points, which was good for third place.

Also missing three games were Chuck Lister of Earlham and George Eaton of East Peru. Both had 41 points as the tiebreaker score.

Battle of undefeated prep teams

A good one this week: a battle of two unbeatens in prep football. The Class 1-A, District 8 game between Mount Ayr and Panorama (at Panorama) is one of the games.

I pick the Panthers, but then again, the Raiders have been playing tough.

The tiebreaker is the Nebraska/Northwestern game.

Sorry, Big Red fans.
