Winterset saw the season come to a close with a loss in the district final to Harlan. 

The Huskies were able to score seven runs in one inning against Carroll, enroute to a 12-2 victory. Casey Young had two hits and three RBI. Gavin Milledge was on the hill, striking out six in five innings. 

The team advanced to face Harlan in the district final. The Cyclones outscored the Huskies late in the game, on the way to a 5-2 win. Easton Darling went 2 for 3 with an RBI in the loss. Young earned the decision, throwing 108 pitches in five innings. He struck out ten while scattering three hits. 

Young led the team in batting average at .456 on the season. He also had a team high 44 RBIs. Young also led the team in ERA at 1.13 and innings pitched at 49 2/3. 

Gavin Milledge is the lone departing senior from the class of 2019. Winterset finished fourth in the Raccoon River Conference.
