Donna Dudney, 75, of Lorimor died Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at the Greater Regional Hospice House in Creston, Iowa.
A visitation was held Saturday June 1, at Caldwell Parrish Winterset Chapel with a funeral service immediately following. Burial was in the Lorimor Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to EveryStep Hospice.
Donna Bell Dudney, daughter of Don and Florence (Rector) Betts, was born Aug. 7, 1943, in Des Moines, Iowa. She graduated from Lincoln High School in Des Moines. She continued her education and obtained a Certified Nurse’s Aide license. Donna was united in marriage with Gary Dudney on Oct. 27, 1984, in Winterset, Iowa. Donna worked as a nurse’s aide for the Madison County Memorial Hospital and area nursing homes.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Florence Betts; and a grandson, Jacob Stewart.
She is survived by her husband, Gary Dudney of Lorimor; four children, Allan Searl of Winterset, Donita Stewart of Atlantic, Robin Searl of Lorimor and Monica (Randy) Duffe of Wilton; step children, Allison Dudney and Chisum (Talena) Dudney; brother, Larry (Dottie) Betts of Newton; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nine step grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
