Fall is just around the corner and with it comes the changing of the leaves, cooler temperatures and, of course, the CRISP Nuts & Candy Fundraiser.
CRISP (Community Resources in Service to People) serves Madison County families in need and relies on donations, a few small grants, and fundraisers for ALL of its funding. CRISP has conducted its fall nuts and candy sales for several years, and it has become one of the organization’s largest fundraisers.
CRISP sells Terri Lynn products, which include a premium grade of nuts, mouth-watering snack mixes, and tempting confections you will love. Orders will be taken until October 15 and will be delivered prior to Thanksgiving. The product is perfect for holiday baking, stocking stuffers or holiday gifts. CRISP board members and a few community volunteers will be selling the product this year.
You can go to the CRISP web site at www.wintersetcrisp.org to view the Terri Lynn flyer and order form. Mail or drop off your order, with payment included, to the CRISP offices located in the basement of the First Presbyterian Church at 210 W. Green St. in Winterset, or call the CRISP office at 515-462-9400 with questions or to place your order. Orders should be received by Oct. 15.
