Farmers market is back on the square

  • 1 min to read

The Madison County Farmers Market is back for the 2020 season. The first day was Saturday morning, May 31, on the north lawn of the courthouse square.

The market will have a little different look this year as vendors will be spaced further apart to allow for social distancing due to the pandemic. Market hours will be 8 a.m. until noon every Saturday morning until Oct. 3.

Citizens ventured through the market on Saturday morning, to see what vendors had to offer. One booth was especially popular as it contained a variety of colorful plant offerings perfect for local gardens. Pat Randol of Randol Honey Farm was also at the market with many flavors of honey and other products.
