The Charlie Kordick family wishes to express our sincere thank you for the outpouring of condolences at the death of our loved one. Many thanks to Dr. Kimball, the staff at Madison County Hospital, and Charlie’s nurses “angels” for their care and concern as his health was failing; the therapy department where he loved to visit while exercising, Tom Collins and Caldwell Parrish for thoughtfully guiding us through the arrangements, and our wonderful St Joseph family for the support you’ve always given. We especially want to thank all who helped with the beautiful farewell services; grandson Rusty Kordick for driving the family faithful M Farmall from the farm to display at the visitation; grandson Fr Adam Westphal and Fr Thomas Dooley for celebrating the mass of Christian burial, and all the family members who surrounded Charlie with love as they provided the readings and prayers, presented the gifts, served as pallbearers, and presented the very inspirational music. We are confident that he was at peace as his favorite songs were so beautifully presented. Our deep gratitude goes to our local Knights of Columbus for showing their respect to a fellow knight, the American Legion and VFW for the military honors, and our Altar and Rosary ladies for the wonderful luncheon. And last, but certainly not the least, to many people he had contact with and who brought him joy over the years. He never met a stranger! and to Ted Benshoof family for taking such good care of our land. How blessed he and his family have always felt for being a part of this community since 1955.

Our love and thanks again.
